On the 19th and 20th of September, the twelfth to fourteenth lectures of the “Academic Forum of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics” were held in Conference Room 2 of the Energy Conference Center. Dr. Hao Liu from Shanghai University, Dr. Shulei Chou from Wollongong University in Australia and Dr. Zunfeng Liu from Nankai University were invited to this forum. Academic reports entitled "Porous carbon-based composites for energy storage and conversion", "Low cost materials for high energy sodium-ion battery" and "Application of folded structures in flexible wearable electronic devices" were presented. Professor Hongzhang Zhang, president of the Youth Promotion Association of our institute, and more than 50 postgraduates and researchers in related fields attended the conference.
At the end of the report, the keynote speakers and participants held extensive discussions on the theme of the report. Subsequently, visits and technical exchanges were conducted in relevant laboratories, which laid a good foundation for further exchanges and cooperation in the future.
