1、Design and Synthesis of Micro Nano Reactors

Through rational design, we develop grand novel synthetic methods, and construct series of micro nano reactors (including phenolic resins, COFs, MOFs, SiO2, carbon, metal oxides, etc.) with well-defined micro/nanostructures and controllable chemical composition.


2、Micro Nano Reactors for Thermal Hydrogenation

Owing to the unique physical-chemical properties, these nanoreactors show great potential in thermal hydrogenations, such as catalytic conversion of biomass, CO2 hydrogenation, selectivity hydrogenation of unsaturated aldehydes/ketones, alkynes, and functionalized nitroaromatic hydrocarbons.


3、Micro Nano Reactors as Photocatalysts for H2O2 Production

Designing polymeric photocatalysts at the molecular level to modulate the photogenerated charge behavior is a promising and challenging strategy for efficient H2O2 photosynthesis. We are of great interest in designing and creating polymeric and polymer/graphene composites photocatalysts, as well as clarifying their photocatalytic mechanism. 


4、Micro Nano Reactors for Energy Conversion and Storage

Benefiting from unique structural features, these nanoreactors have been proven to be one of the superior candidates for electrocatalysis(HER, ORR, CO2RR) and energy storage, e.g., high-energy lithium/sodium/potassium-ion batteries, lithium/sodium-sulfur batteries.
