Stanford University has recently released a list that World's Top 2% Scientists 2022 in various disciplines. Prof. Jian Liu featured among World's Top 2% Scientists 2022“Lifetime Science Achievement List” （1960-2022）. He was ranked 298 out of ~7795 researchers in domestic scholars.
The report was prepared by a team of experts led by Prof. John Ioannidis, the eminent Professor at the Stanford University released on October 10, 2022. Based on the Scopus database, citations to papers, H-index, HM-index and other composite indicators, this study analyzed data from 1960 through 2022, covering 100,000 top-scientists in 22 research fields and 176 subfields ranging from chemistry to engineering to economics and business. The exhaustive list has ~ 200, 000 scientists.
