On the afternoon of April 26th 2019, the 20th and 21st lectures of the “Dalian Institute of Youth Innovation Promotion Academic Forum” were held in the conference room on the third floor of the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis. The forum invited Professor Yi Jia from the Queensland Micro-Nano Technology Center at Griffith University. Also invited was Professor Zhenan Qiao from the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry at Jilin University. Academic reports entitled "Design and Application of Defects in Electrocatalysis" and "Multifunctionalized Mesoporous Materials: Designed Synthesis and Applications" were presented by Professor Yi Jia and Professor Zhenan Qiao respectively. Professor Hongzhang Zhang, the president of the Youth Promotion Association, and more than 50 postgraduates and researchers in related fields attended the conference.
The academic forum was chaired by Professor Zhongshuai Wu and Professor Hongzhang Zhang. On behalf of the Institute, Professor Jian Liu presented the award of the “Dalian Institute of Chemistry Youth Innovation Promotion Academic Forum” to the guest speakers.
